Yan Po vs French Kiss - 2nd Game

We played a good passing game but in a rather slow pace. Kind of adapted to the necessary tempo and did not raise the level too much during the game. We started with a great chance by Lewis in 2nd minute already, followed by Daniele´s and Lewis again, added nice shots by Lucas and Simone and finally wasted header from 1m distance by Charles. Fortunately right after the header Charles shot pass the goalie and it proved to be enough to give us the lead (great debut BTW). We had more opportunities to score but instead Yan Po level the game. Their first chance came after 25 minutes from the right side cross into the box which we managed to clear from the goal line and it should have been warning to us. They repeated the same thing 5 minutes later with better luck and therefore we finished the first half 1:1.

Second half was the same story, with ball possession of 80% FK and 20% Yan Po. After a rare counter attack, Tony and Vojta were not able to take the ball away from their attacker who scored from a close distance despite Davido cut the angle and got his hands on it, it slip through and slowly rolled over the line. Instead of wrapping up the game, we were down 2:1. Our chances continued with Thomas sending Omar in front of the goalie but he only hit it right in the middle. 5 minutes to the end Peter scored with a great shot what (compared to the rest of the game) was not a chance at all. We played some 7 minutes of injury time (thanks ref) with our desperate effort to put the 3rd one in, but to no avail.

Pros and cons as discussed after the beer with coach and some team members:

Negatives - not efficient offense (2 goals out of 8-9 chances), questionable defense (2 goals concealed out of 3 chances), not using the wings

Positives - no yellow cards (!), being able to come from one goal deficit and good passing game (almost too fancy some would say)
