Cup Game French Kiss - HKDC

More than a week has passed since this game. A couple of beers during big parties in Saigon, Hanoi, Bangkok and Hong Kong have destroyed enough brain cells to forget most of this game. Still, some game report to save the story for our children and grandchildren, if not they will probably never believe that grandaddy ever reachted the quarter finals of the Yauyeeleague cup.

Cup Game: French Kiss - HKDC 2 - 1

The line up:

Fabio in goal, Fabio and Etienne in central defense, Miguel and Ken on the side. In midfield, we played with Henrique, Angel, Jurian and Paolo, upfront we had Mauro and Jackal. On the side, Davido, Julien, Rudi and Maarten were ready to join.

The game started, but was stopped for 10 minutes due to a serious injury from a Hearts player. We do wish him a quick recovery. Some for Hearts player Ming, who also suffered a serious injury 2 days earlier. In the first half, French Kiss created some 20 chances, but did not convert any of them. Unwritten football law is very clear on this subject, if you keep missing chances, they will score eventually. As you can see on the video, it was finally Angel who blasted our second goal past their keeper, who had already saved everything, except a very clever Henrique goal. 2 - 1 was enough to qualify, but it prooved a big task. Hearts, our training partners in KGV gave us a good run for our money. We wish them all the best for the rest of the season.

And we are in the quarter finals in the cup! And nearly safe from renegation! And it is only january! We are doing good, so wild celebrations will follow.
